Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 August 2026
This website is operated by With Garnet Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17265252), registered office 22 Freemans View, Haverfordwest, SA61 1LG. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to With Garnet Ltd.
The short version: this site runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It stores one item in your browser, and only to remember the answer you gave the cookie banner.
1. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. “Local storage” does much the same job in a different place in the browser. Both are covered by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and, where they involve personal data, by UK GDPR. This policy covers both.
2. What this site stores
| Name | Type | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
withgarnet_cookies |
Local storage (essential) | With Garnet Ltd (this site) | Records whether you accepted or declined non-essential storage, so the banner does not reappear on every page. | Until you clear your browser data |
That is the complete list. This entry is strictly necessary to honour your choice, so it does not itself require consent under PECR.
3. Categories we use
- Essential — required for the site to work or to record your preference. Currently one item, listed above.
- Analytics — none in use. If we ever add analytics, it will load only after you press “Accept”, and it will be listed in the table above before it goes live.
- Marketing / advertising — none, and we have no plan to add any.
- Functional — none.
4. Third parties
Two third-party services deliver files to your browser when you open this site. Neither sets a cookie here, but each necessarily receives your IP address as part of the request, because that is how the web works:
- Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) — serves the Geist Mono and Inter typefaces. Google privacy policy ↗
- Cloudflare, via cdnjs (Cloudflare, Inc.) — serves the GSAP animation library. Cloudflare privacy policy ↗
We embed no social media widgets, no video players, no chat tools and no advertising tags.
5. Declining
Choosing “Decline” on the banner changes nothing about how the site behaves, because there is nothing non-essential to switch off. We record the choice so we do not ask you again, and so that any future analytics stays off for you by default.
6. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change your mind at any time, and it costs you nothing:
- Clear this site’s stored data in your browser (in most browsers: padlock icon in the address bar → site settings → clear data). The banner will reappear on your next visit and you can choose again.
- Or email [email protected] and we will confirm what is recorded against your visit — which, on this site, is nothing beyond the entry in your own browser.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and local storage for all sites or for one site. Look under Settings → Privacy. Blocking storage entirely on this site means the cookie banner will appear on every visit, as we then have nowhere to record your answer. Guidance for each browser is published by the ICO at www.ico.org.uk.
8. Questions and complaints
Email [email protected] or telephone +44 7828 778 805. How we handle personal data generally is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow SK9 5AF, helpline 0303 123 1113, www.ico.org.uk.
9. Changes
If we add anything that stores data in your browser, we will update the table above and the date at the top of this page before it goes live.
